Fair Use Policy

Podwise.IO provides AI-powered podcast summarization services. To ensure fair access and stable performance for all users, we apply the following Fair Use Policy.

All plans are subject to a 3,000-minute per month Fair Use limit on total podcast audio processed per billing cycle.

What counts toward your limit?

Every minute of podcast audio you submit for summarization counts toward your monthly limit, regardless of whether the summary was previously cached.

Plan limits

Free Plan: 10 episodes per month, podcasts up to 4 hours
Premium Plan ($4.99/month): Unlimited episodes, subject to 3,000-minute Fair Use cap

What happens if I hit the limit?

If you reach the 3,000-minute Fair Use limit in a billing cycle, summarization requests will be paused until your limit resets at the start of your next billing cycle. You will still be able to access previously generated summaries in your history.

Why do we have this policy?

AI transcription and summarization is computationally expensive. This policy allows us to keep Premium pricing low at $4.99/month while maintaining fast, reliable service for everyone. The vast majority of users will never come close to the 3,000-minute limit.

Abuse prevention

Automated use, scraping, or any attempt to circumvent usage limits is prohibited and may result in account suspension. Podwise.IO is intended for personal, non-commercial use of podcast summaries.

Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to update this Fair Use Policy at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email.
