Welcome to Podwise.IO. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Podwise Chrome extension and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using Podwise, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service.

Podwise offers both free and paid subscription plans at $4.99/month. Current pricing is displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time.
Payments are processed via Helio / MoonPay. By making a purchase, you agree to their applicable terms and conditions.
Podwise.IO subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis and do not auto-renew. Each billing period must be renewed manually. You will receive an email reminder before your current period expires. You may cancel at any time by contacting support@podwise.io.
14-Day Withdrawal Right: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason, unless you have explicitly requested that the service begin immediately within that period.
If you request immediate access and the service has begun, you acknowledge that you waive your right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed. To request a refund within 14 days, contact us at support@podwise.io.
After 14 days, refunds are provided at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. These terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Free and paid plans include a monthly allowance of podcast summaries. Your allowance resets at the beginning of each calendar month (midnight UTC on the 1st). Unused summaries do not roll over. Premium subscribers receive unlimited summaries.
You agree to use Podwise only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Our Service uses Groq's AI technology for summary generation. You agree NOT to use Podwise to process content that promotes violence, terrorism, hate speech, child exploitation, or illegal activities.
The Podwise Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Tyne Production Ltd (Company No. 16917547) and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Service without permission.
You retain ownership of any content you input into the Service. By using Podwise, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Free users: Summaries are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use them in any commercial context.
Premium users: You are granted a limited commercial license to use generated summaries for business purposes (e.g., internal use, newsletters, content creation), provided you do not resell or redistribute the summaries as a standalone product and attribute Podwise.IO where appropriate.
We strive to maintain reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Important: Summaries are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors ("hallucinations"). Summaries are for informational purposes only. Users should not rely on AI-generated content for professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated output before acting on it.
Podwise processes podcast content from third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party podcasts.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. UK consumers retain the right to bring claims in their local UK courts regardless of any arbitration preference stated herein.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, we prefer resolution through arbitration, however UK consumers retain the right to use the UK court system including small claims court.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Podwise.IO regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
